GET LISTED IN APPLE PODCASTS / ITUNES

Note before you start the submission:

You must have at least one PUBLISHED episode before you can submit your podcast and then get listed in any directories.
Make sure you HAVE ACCESS to the email address given in the RSS Feed Settings of your podcast in the Syndicast account.
Log in to your Syndicast account, go to your show’s page and COPY the “RSS Feed URL” of your podcast. (Make sure you copy the exact URL without spaces or any extra characters.) You will need this in order to verify that it’s your podcast.

Follow the steps in order to get listed in Apple Podcasts (iTunes)

STEP 1 – Get your RSS feed URL.

To get your podcast RSS feed URL, go to Podcast Hosting > My Podcast(s) in your Syndicast account. On the podcast’s page, you will see your “RSS feed URL” ( https://syndicast.co.uk//). This is what you need for Apple Podcasts / iTunes.

STEP 2 – Create an Account / Log in to Podcasts Connect.

If you don’t have an Apple account, you can easily create an Apple ID account for free.

-Go to Podcasts Connect, Apple’s podcast management area, and log in with your Apple ID.

-Click on the “+” button to submit a new podcast feed.

-Copy your RSS feed from Syndicast and paste it into the RSS Feed box. Then press ‘Validate’.

-If the status is “Prepared for submission”, this means your podcast is ready for submission. Review your podcast information one last time and, if everything is correct, click “Submit”. You can check the status of your iTunes submission in Podcasts Connect.

STEP 3 – Wait for Apple to approve your feed.

Usually, the approval takes about 5 to 14 business days. You’ll get an email once your podcast is approved.

*Please note that there are sometimes delays with iTunes updating, which we cannot control.
